Patricia Kay Reynolds, 64, East Moline, died Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA.
Funeral services are 10 AM Monday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Entombment is in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation is 2-7PM Sunday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 1:30PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the local Elizabeth Ministry International.
Patricia Kavanski was born December 21, 1946 in Moline, the daughter of Walter J. and Anastasia “Lou” (Kachevas) Kavanski. She married Charles Reynolds Jr. on May 12, 1967 in Idaho Falls, ID. Patricia graduated from Black Hawk College in July of 1989 as a Registered Nurse. She retired in 2004 as an assembler from John Deere Harvester, East Moline. Pat was a member of the UAW Local 865, the East Moline VFW Auxilary, the Silvis Eagles, and the Moline Svithiod. Pat was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always put her family first. She was an excellent cook and one of her greatest joys was having her family together. Pat was a dedicated friend and a devout servant of her Lord, Jesus Christ.
Survivors include her husband Charlie; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Tina Reynolds, East Moline, John and Jill Reynolds, Moline, and Jim Reynolds, Moline; grandchildren, Patricia “Nici” (Brandon) Ratliff, Christopher Flores, Charles IV, Lathan, Devin, Khrystina, Ava, Audrey, Iris, Carli, Garrett and Brock; a great granddaughter, Pamela; sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Alex Burkholder of Shaumburg; her very best and closest friend since 6th grade, Bernadette (Fayan) Wheatley; special friends, Donna Wilson, Mike Malmstrom, and Wanda Sweat, along with a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Ann Reynolds, her granddaughter Jennica, and her parents.
